Insight (UK) has today been named one of Great Place to Work’s 2020 UK Best Workplaces.

The prestigious accolade is given to organisations which display an exceptional workplace culture. This is the first time Insight has applied for this award, ranking 20th and topping hundreds of applicants to be recognised on this esteemed list.

According to Great Place to Work, Insight is considered a Best Workplace because of its diverse, inclusive culture and the sense of community fostered, underpinned by the company’s strong set of values; Hunger, Heart and Harmony.

This is the third time Insight has received recognition from Great Place to Work. Last year, the company ranked 7th Best Place to Work in Tech, as well as securing an award for Excellence in Wellbeing.

Emma de Sousa, Insight UK Managing Director, says: “At Insight, our success starts with our people. I firmly believe that as leaders, we are responsible for enabling employees to be the very best that they can be in order to achieve that success.  That’s why we have  created an environment that reflects our company values of Hunger, Heart and Harmony and embraces the different skill sets, perspectives and backgrounds of employees across the organisation. As such, we are able to bring the very best solutions to our clients, while celebrating the contributions of teammates.

“This win recognises our collaborative culture and the benefits of empowering our employees to innovate, while feeling trusted and valued.”

Great Place to Work ® is the global authority on building, sustaining, and recognising high-trust, high-performing workplace cultures. Since 1981, they have been celebrating companies globally for elevating the employee experience through exceptional workplace culture*

In order to secure their win, Insight UK were assessed under Great Place to Work’s Trust Index Survey and Culture Audit, with teammates asked to feedback their views on Insight’s culture. Initiatives and programmes within the organisation were also reviewed. The results of these assessments highlighted the exceptional level of trust and confidence between both employees and employers, as well as what makes working at Insight unique.

Gill Swain, UK HR Director, adds: “Our win is testament to the exceptional culture within Insight. Our teammates live and breathe the core values of Hunger, Heart and Harmony, creating a culture of inclusivity and encouragement.”

“This acknowledgement is made even more special by how unusual it is to be recognised in the first year of entry. We will continue to build upon our unique culture, trust and employee experience, with our teammates at the forefront of everything we do.”
