Insight Lands Six on CRN’s 2019 Women of the Channel

List celebrates female leadership across all areas of Insight’s business

TEMPE, Ariz., May 20, 2019 – Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ: NSIT), the global provider of Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions™ for organizations of all sizes, today announced that six company leaders have been named to the CRN 2019 Women of the Channel list, celebrating and fostering female leadership across the IT channel.

This year, Insight is represented on the list by Megan Amdahl, senior vice president, operations; Amy Protexter, senior vice president, North America marketing; Jennifer Vasin, senior vice president, human resources; Suzanne Gallagher, vice president, marketing and strategic alliances, Cloud + Data Center Transformation; Brenda Hudson, vice president, inside sales and sales enablement, learning and development; and Bozena Kostelic, director of inside sales.

The leaders on CRN’s annual list are from all areas of the IT channel ecosystem, representing technology suppliers, distributors, solution providers and other IT organizations. Each is recognized for her contributions to channel advocacy, channel growth and visionary leadership.

“Having leaders who are constantly driven to learn, grow and pave intelligent ways ahead for our business translates into fresh solutions for our clients’ complex challenges,” said Ken Lamneck, Insight president and CEO. “It takes insight to meld the diverse skill sets and perspectives of a global team, and Megan, Amy, Jen, Suzanne, Brenda and Bozena instill a sense of harmony across our broad range of solutions. Our Women of the Channel this year exemplify Insight’s core values; they’ve built devoted teams of hungry, humble and smart people dedicated to making digital transformation easier for clients.”

Amdahl has served as SVP of Insight’s operations since 2016, overseeing global logistics, supply chain, integration services offerings, business transformation and profitable growth. Her team has significantly improved sales growth and lowered costs as a key driver in margin expansion. Her role recently expanded to oversee global operations in partnership with Insight’s global accounts team to build a differentiated client experience in the EMEA and APAC regions.

Protexter, who joined Insight in 2014 as vice president of marketing, has led Insight’s rebranding as the company has evolved over the last five years from a traditional hardware/software reseller into a full-service systems integrator. Her marketing team has developed a sophisticated digital marketing stack that generated marketing-influenced revenue of $5.3 billion in 2018.

Vasin, who was promoted to SVP of human resources in January, has overseen the successful integration of three large companies over the last couple of years, as Insight has grown to more than 7,400 teammates. She established the In It Together Foundation,  Insight’s charitable nonprofit program, which has raised $1 million for teammates in crisis situations, and she leads Insight’s North American philanthropic endeavors through the company’s Reach program. Leading a companywide emphasis on unity, Insight was named as Fortune’s #23 Best Workplace in Technology in 2019 and a Fortune 100 Best Workplace for Diversity in 2018.

Gallagher is responsible for the go-to-market strategy, marketing and alliances for Insight’s Cloud + Data Center Transformation solution area. She leads teams that support revenue and client growth through focused business initiatives, sales team operations, and strategic partner relations. She’s demonstrated success in strong brand development, strategic messaging, communications, alliance channels and business development.

In her 3½ years at the helm of Insight’s inside sales, Hudson has implemented a number of enablement initiatives that have driven double-digit growth. Her team grew Insight’s key partner business more than 20 percent in 2018, while transforming the go-to-market strategy around the four key areas of Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions™: Supply Chain Optimization, Connected Workforce, Cloud + Data Center Transformation, and Digital Innovation. She also leads enablement, learning and development for Insight’s more than 4,800+ sales and service delivery professionals.

Kostelic was promoted to inside sales director in 2018. A 20-year veteran of Insight, her teams consistently lead Insight in revenue and profit growth. In her former role as product marketing director, she oversaw 60 partner brands.

“CRN’s 2019 Women of the Channel list honors influential leaders who are accelerating channel growth through mutually-beneficial partnerships, incredible leadership, strategic vision, and unique contributions in their field,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “This accomplished group of leaders is driving channel success and we are proud to honor their achievements.”
